Being a volunteer at Scouts we want all our leaders to have first aid skills they can draw on to help within scouts and also the wider community.
Scouts has a bespoke first response course designed for scouting and our young people, it doesn’t have a NGB qualification so doesn’t meet employer requirements. Likewise if you have an existing qualification then this can be adapted/ converted to be used within scouts. First Response last for 3 years and requires renewal.
